SSL/TLS certificates encrypt data between users and websites. Key things to check:

• Valid: Certificate hasn't expired
• Trusted: Issued by a trusted Certificate Authority
• Correct Domain: Certificate matches the domain
• Strong Encryption: Uses TLS 1.2 or higher
