Cially v1.0 Launches: The Free Discord Analytics Tool You’ve Been Waiting For

Hey Discord server owners! There’s a cool new tool you might want to check out. Cially just hit version 1.0, officially moving out of beta, and it’s looking pretty sweet for anyone who wants to understand what’s actually happening in their Discord communities.

What’s Cially All About?

Cially is basically a completely free analytics tool for your Discord server that you can run yourself. Unlike most Discord analytics options that either cost money or don’t tell you much, Cially gives you the full picture without any subscription fees.

The whole thing is open-source, meaning you can see exactly how it works, tweak it if you want, and you’re not locked into some company’s ecosystem. It’s built for server owners by server owners who understand what information actually matters.

With Cially, you can track stuff like:

  • When your members are most active
  • Which channels get the most action
  • How individual users engage with your server
  • Patterns in your community’s behavior

This means you can make smarter decisions about when to schedule events, drop announcements, or focus your moderation efforts.

What’s New in Version 1.0?

The biggest addition in this release is the new User Search Page. Now you can look up any member and see:

  • How many times they’ve joined and left your server
  • Their average message length (are they sending thoughtful responses or just emoji reactions?)
  • How many server invites they’ve created
  • Which text channel they hang out in most
  • Total message count and when they created their account

They’ve also added loading skeletons to make the dashboard feel snappier while data loads.

Other improvements include:

  • Docker support now works properly (big thanks to GitHub user “hxck” for helping with this)
  • A completely reworked README that makes installation easier, even for beginners
  • Faster API performance
  • Cleaner code that makes it easier for others to contribute

Why You Might Want to Try It

If you’re running a Discord server and ever wondered:

  • “When should I post announcements for maximum visibility?”
  • “Which of my members are actually engaging vs. just lurking?”
  • “How is my community growing over time?”
  • “Who are my most valuable community builders?”

Then Cially might be exactly what you need. Since it’s self-hosted, your data stays private, and you don’t have to worry about some company changing their pricing on you down the road.

How to Get Started

Want to give it a shot? Head over to the GitHub page: https://github.com/skellgreco/cially

The newly improved README should walk you through the setup process, and with the Docker support, installation should be pretty straightforward even if you’re not super technical.

The creator is actively looking for feedback and feature ideas, so if you think of something that would make Cially even better for your server, don’t hesitate to share it!
